Auction Overlay: run auctions with /pay.

An auction house inside your game. Pick an item, set the timer and the minimum bid, and every /pay from a player counts as a bid. The mod keeps the top bid, resets the timer on late bids and tells you who won.

How it works

Run an auction in three steps.

  1. Set up the lot

    Search any item (or make a custom lot), then set the amount, worth, time, min pay and raise.

  2. Players pay to bid

    Everyone who /pays you is a bid. The top bid and the countdown update on the spot.

  3. The winner is picked

    When time runs out the top bidder wins. Their tpa is copied for you (Basic and Premium).

Payments become bids

Reads the payment messages your server sends, like Steve paid you $1M. Bids can also be typed in by hand.

Anti-snipe timer

A bid in the last seconds adds time, so nobody can snipe the auction at the buzzer.

On-screen card

Close the panel and keep playing: a small card shows the time left, top bid, next bid and worth.

For streamers

A live text file for OBS in every edition. Premium adds an animated OBS overlay and Discord posts.

Custom lots

Sell many items as one lot, with your own name and logo, and save them as presets (Basic and Premium).

First to pay & Dutch auctions

“First to pay 5m after the countdown gets 10m” games and price-drop auctions, with refunds listed (Premium).

Queue, reserve & buy now

Line up lots that start by themselves, set a reserve price, a buy-it-now price or several winners (Premium).

Giveaways

Set an entry amount and a prize; everyone who pays is in, more pay = more tickets, and the winner's pay is copied (Premium).

Auction Overlay questions

Is Auction Overlay free?

Yes. The Free edition has the full auction panel, timer, automatic bids from payments and the OBS text file. Basic and Premium are one-time purchases that add custom lots, more looks, auto-copied tpa, first to pay, Dutch auctions, the queue and more.

Which Minecraft versions does it support?

Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.11, 26.1 - 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3, with Fabric Loader. Download the jar for the version on your launcher profile.

Do I need Fabric API?

No. Auction Overlay only needs Fabric Loader.

Does it work on my server?

It runs only on your game and reads the payment messages your server sends, like Steve paid you $1M or You received $1M from Steve, which covers most economy plugins. Check your server's rules on client mods first.

Can someone fake a bid in chat?

The mod never reads normal player chat, only messages from the server. Every bid is listed in the bid history, so you can check it against your balance before handing the item over.

Can my stream show the auction?

Yes. Every edition writes a live text file you can add to OBS. Premium adds an animated OBS overlay (a Browser source) and can post auctions to Discord.
